Storm Romi Rain

I got Romi Rain's FL (Storm Texture) as a purchase in December 2019, and also got a mystery sleeve (of which as of the time of writing this review, I'm not sure which one was it... Fortunately, not of consequence of this review). I was hoping to have this written some time ago, but here it is now. I did use the sleeve on additional time before reviewing.


Aesthetics: The Storm texture has a orifice that is a replica of Romi Rain's vulva. It is quite pleasing (as most vulva are) to the eye, and was a oddly enticing sight while penetrating (I don't really focus too much on this part, but today my mind wanted to, which did add to the experience in an arousing way.

Lube: Since mid-2019, I have exclusively used Gun Oil H2O (do not use the original Gun Oil as it is a silcone lubricant that will damage your sleeves). Gun Oil H20 is great as it is a longer lasting lube, works very well with Fleshlight products and is formulated to help improve sexual activity. I only had to use a bit in the sleeve and on myself to get things going and did not need to re-lube (the whole FLight did last a few minutes).

Noise: The Storm sleeve itself did not make much noise when penetrating, but the case ring (that holds the sleeve in the case) did "pop" against the case.. I fixed this by ever so slightly twisting the air cap to vent without sacrificing much suction. Other than that, quite quiet. Unless someone is watching you enjoy yourself, the noise ought not to be a factor in a closed room.

Penetration: Penetrating the storm is a enjoyable experience, with a slightly narrowed entry followed by a ring osmall beads, and then rows of alternating small beads before a narrower and bumpy canal, and then a ring of larger bumps and then a set of ridges (which is where I ran out of "room" as my penis, above average as it is, cannot go further). The variation of these textures are enjoyable to plunge into, and then pull back.

Intensity: The Storm is an modestly intense to intense sleeve. The textures will definitely get you going and set up for a strong orgasmic finish, but if you slow a bit, you can more fully enjoy the sleeve for longer. The latter appears to be its sweet spot. You can go "to town" with this sleeve if you like, and have a nice quick go at it if you're in a hurry, but you might be missing out on a better... ahem, finish.

Orgasm: With a FL, there are three orgasms that tend to come about (pun intended). One is a gentle buildup that leads to a nice orgasm. Another is one that causes you to cum without warning. The last is a "when you blow, you know." Storm is a bit of the first and mostly of the third. I knew when I was going to blow, but I was able to somehow slow it down and build it up a bit more, leading to a solid and enjoyable finish that made digging up the Storm all the worthwhile.

Cleanup: The Storm does have some texture to the canal, so a good through rinsing with some finger checking to get all the "deposits" out should do the trick. For drying, you can use a paper towel to absorb a lot of the moisture inside, but use a good quality paper towel unless you want it to tear apart in the canal and require you to do some excavations to pull it out. Towel drying will cut the drying time significantly, and proper air ventilation should finish the job in a handful of hours (I put my sleeves into a clean but old t-shirt with it opened to help continue drying the outside and provide ventilation). Haven't lost a sleeve yet this way.

Once upon a time during it's release, the Storm took the FL world by storm (ack, pun), fast becoming a favorite of quite a few FLyers. Now although the Storm is no longer top of the list, it's still a great purchase for those desiring a higher level of intensity and variation, and is a worthwhile purchase for collectors AND for those who have FLown a couple of sleeves.

Needs girth mod: Maybe. It felt perfectly fine without modification, and after it got much less intense and aggressive. If you like strong sensations and your size works, don’t modify.

Smoothness: 7/10. Though the texture is complicated, it’s fairly wide, and doesn’t scrape as badly as it looks. Even smoother after modification.

Intensity: 8/10. The sleeve’s intensity wasn’t in a “strong rubbing that’s hard to handle” way, but rather a “so nice it’s hard to hold out” way. After modification, it became unexpectedly mellow, and better for longer, slower sessions.

Sensation: 8/10. It’s an incredibly active sleeve, but everything blends together quite a bit. Mostly just soft and squishy, and depending on how tight it is on you, you’ll feel different sections more or less. Where it really shines is when you’re extra sensitive and swollen up, either from extreme arousal or being close to orgasm, where it gets much more pleasurable and distinct.

Intensity During Orgasm: 7/10. It’s a lot to rub against you, so if you’re sensitive while finishing, it probably isn’t a good sleeve to stroke through.

Conclusión:
Overall Experience: 8/10. All around, a great edging sleeve that’s perfect for long sessions and hard pounding.

Romi Rain’s Storm Fleshlight is a sleeve of many parts. There are five distinct sections inside, with changing textures throughout.

Directly inside the entrance, there is a deep notch cut out of the channel walls, widening the channel briefly before narrowing again into a ring of large, flattened bumps. Another groove follows. The second segment of the sleeve is lined with small rounded bumps on gradually narrowing walls; this section is about 1.75” (40mm) long and it ends 3.75” (95mm) into the sleeve.

The centerpiece of the Fleshlight comes next. Here, the sides narrow again, the texture is a collection of tiny grooves which criss cross diagonally, creating a ‘check’ effect. The center section widens slightly, before passing into the fourth chamber, where wide ribs line the sides.

The final chamber follows, 7” (180mm) from the entrance. Here, wide ‘broken’ rings line the passage, separated into wide rectangular sections which wrap around the sleeves.

Before trying it I thought that the textures in this sleeve looked intense; they definitely are!

The stimulation begins as soon as you pass the entrance, as the grove in the sides is quickly followed by the first set of bumps, and very quickly by the second. The spacing between the bumps diminishes as the walls press in, making this section very intense to push through as everything tightens around you at once.

The varied width of the canal and the bumpy texture add up to a very strong start. The middle section offers some relief from the super intense texture but it soon tightens again, gripping the penis as you push on into the ribbed walls of the fourth chamber.

The whole combination is overwhelming and I found myself on the point of orgasm very quickly. The textures feel stronger as you swell in this sleeve and become more sensitive to them; it would definitely be a great choice for stamina training. However, if you find yourself over-sensitive to strong textures after orgasm then you might want to finish outside this sleeve.

Conclusión:
Overall, I’d say the Romi Rain Storm is a pretty amazing Fleshlight if you enjoy strong textures and fast orgasms. It’s a little too ‘strong’ for me but the variety of textures meant I enjoyed it more than the STU and other very intense textures. I would recommend this sleeve to anyone who enjoys the super-intense STU and Super Ribbed Fleshlights but wants a little more variety in their sleeves.

Not the most exciting texture, but overall happy to have this one. The entrance is pretty loose and that continues through most of the texture. A lot of variance in this one.I like this as it is great when I'm feeling sensitive and want different feelings through the session. The small tight quick ridges are surprisingly exciting and often the pinnacle of the experience.

A looser less intense option. I'm not sure I would buy this again as other texture seem more exciting

I got the storm because I saw it on sale and after checking up on the sleeve here on Fleshassist people were talking highly of it. So, is it any good? Let's talk about that:

This is a moderately intense sleeve. You won't take forever to reach climax, nor will you pop off instantly. The trick to this sleeve is the very first ring of nubs. These are really something else and gives both stimulation and penetration high marks in my book. These nubs are PROMINENT regardless of how far you are into the sleeve, you really feel them running along your whole member. The orgasm is nice and intensity isn't so high as to ruin it. The orifice is, as with most FLG sleeves, superb. The lips are detailed and captures a "thinner" look compared to many other girls "meaty" lips.
Noise, Lube use, cleanup and dry time are all good.

The less than stellar:

Even though I enjoy the high stimulation of these nubs, they don't make for a very realistic sleeve. There isn't a whole lot of variation going on either, most of the sleeve is pretty STU-ish, but does give you a nice squeeze at the narrow midway point. Smoothness and suction is about average, nothing noteworthy.

Conclusión:
Not too varied, not too intense, but with a nice trick up its sleeve: The first ring of bumps that prominently stimulates throughout the entire session. This makes the Storm super efficient in stimulation and penetration.

This is a direct comparison to Angel (my last review). Storm is much tighter and more smooth compared to Angel. I couldn’t believe how tight Storm was when I penetrated her for the first time. Uncapping as a result of tightness is a no brainer, but when I want at tighter squeeze (to increase intensity) just cap her up! But most of the time I keep her uncapped because the tightness is almost too much for me, and I want to last more than a minute lol. I mean damn… it feels amazing fully capped (like your tight 18 year old gf). Lots a of variation when you twist her and move around, pretty real I’d say. Those nubs (along with the tightness) give it more of a contracting type of real pussy feeling (sort of) when you turn her around and pump her; it felt amazing for sure doing that! Angel and Storm are sort of on the same level but in opposites in terms of design. Storm = Tight (makes it more intense) / Angel = Looser (makes it less intense) —vrs— Angel = rougher cross section (makes it more intense) / Storm = larger smooth bumps = (makes it less intense). So this brings both of these sleeves into the mid level to high for intensity. Uncapping provides control making both sleeves top for sure!

Conclusión:
Storm is more of a smooth/tight sleeve, and very real for that reason. The smoother nubs make this less sleeve less intense in that regard, but the tightness of Storm makes up for that... thus increases intensity in that regard overall.

Just to add a little context to reviews, I'm approx 6.5 inches in length by 5.5 inches in girth, and therefore I tend to enjoy the looser textures so the end cap is almost always open. As of 2019 I have been able to get my launch to connect to my computer and have found some scripts that match the action to a number of porn videos. One of the genres that I have been "playing" are cock hero scripts, and I have found one or two that I have been attempting to use as a point of comparison with different textures. I have found that letting the launch control the thrusting causes the texture details to stand out much more than if I was stroking by hand. I know this has been mentioned on some of the Fleshlight forums, but I wanted to incl for completeness... the material used to make the Storm I received was much different to the other Fleshlights I own. It was much firmer and almost tanned compared to the light flesh tone I am used to. As a result, I have found that I have had to give it a good 3-4 weeks to break in, but is still much more resistant to giving/stretching that other textures which I have found rather enjoyable (even if I don't really like tight textures, it has more of a muscular feeling which just feels really nice).

As for the orifice, the initial penetration feels rather tight (might be the material) but does give way to the more open nubs chamber which has a very enjoyable squishy sensation which I can happily stroke back and forth through to work things up. However, it's when you push further the tighter rings contrast the squishy feeling with a firm stroking sensation (which in my opinion feels more realistic).

Full and deep strokes of this texture have allowed me to build up to an explosive finish, but just slowing down a little you can easily let yourself back off and enjoy a longer session. This texture by no means tries to drag you to the finish line as quick as it can.

Conclusión:
Definitely the most MILF-like sleeve that I own at the moment.

Too good. First of all, it's amazing how real and smooth it feels. The bumps and narrow opening make it intense right from the beginning before even reaching the tornado auction part. Next the ribbed section is incredibly intense and creates even more suction before finally reaching the ribbed end, so much stimulation. One of the best orgasms ever, definitely the best outside of actual sex.

Conclusión:
The combination of texture and suction made for the best orgasm I've ever had masturbating.
